Dr. David Burrows
Dr. Dave Burrows currently serves as Senior Pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries Church and as President of Bahamas Faith Ministries International nonprofit corporation both of which he co-founded with the late world renowned visionary and leader Dr. Myles Munroe whom he succeeded. Pastor Burrows is a multifaceted author, motivator, inspirator, businessman, consultant and mentor. Dr. Burrows was a longtime close associate of Dr. Munroe for over thirty years having traveled and partnered with him in many projects, events and venues while serving as Vice President of the global entity Myles Munroe International.
Dr. Burrows has a long history as a Global Youth and Family Specialist, mentor, life coach and inspirational and motivational speaker and consultant for churches, pastors, cities, countries and numerous organizations and denominations. He has served as advisor to The Bahamas Government on youth matters as Chairman of the National Youth Advisory Council on three occasions, as Chairman of
the Family Life and Health Council and is a current member of the National Crime Advisory Council. Dr. Burrows has also served as Parliamentary Chaplain to The Bahamas Government and House of Assembly. In addition to serving in his current capacity, he also serves as a board member of the Empowered 21 Global Council and as Co-Chair of the Caribbean region. In 2022, Dr. Burrows was bestowed the prestigious Companion Order of Merit as a National Hero of The Bahamas and appointed as a UN sanctioned Global Peace Ambassador by WOLMI.
Dr. Burrows grew up in Nassau, Bahamas and spent his teenage years on the streets involved in the street world of violence, substance abuse and activities that caused him to be expelled from school for assaulting a teacher, put out of his home for assaulting his father and subject to many of the perils of street life. He experienced a dramatic turnaround while in his second year of college, which propelled him into ministry to troubled youth and gang members.
An accomplished author, Dr. Burrows has published twenty books and served as executive producer of five movies and three music soundtracks. His works include The Laws of Good Success, Reaching the Streets, the Power of Positive Choices, Sex and Dating, Kingdom Ambassadors and Kingdom Parenting, which he co-authored with Dr. Munroe.
Dr. Burrows has appeared on many local and international television programs and events hosted by TBN, T.D. Jakes Potters Touch, Oral Roberts University, Messiah College, Prairie View A&M University, Washington College, Armstrong Williams Show, The Potter’s House Denver, Crenshaw Christian Center (Dr. Fred Price), West Angeles Church of God in Christ and many others. He has spoken, consulted and conducted seminars extensively in the United States, Caribbean, Canada, The United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Africa. Dr. Burrows and Bahamas Faith Ministries have partnered over the years in staging a variety of outreaches in the Caribbean, USA, UK, Africa, Haiti, Australia, New Zealand and other countries.
Dr. Burrows has also served as a leadership, business and technology consultant for many organizations. His clients have included major local and international corporations, civic and social organizations and churches. Dr. Burrows founded and continues to serve as president and CEO of Megabyte Computers and One Rib Publications.
Dr. Burrows has mentored and coached many individuals to personal, spiritual, vocational and business success and continues to serve as Pastor, consultant, inspirational and motivational speaker and life coach.
